Thank you very much for your
interest in Hoosier Gridiron.
Hoosier Gridiron is a company dedicated to promoting high
school football and high school football participants.
We accomplish this through the Hoosier Gridiron
Midwest College Prospect publication and through Hoosier
Gridiron’s Midwest High School Football Combines.
The Hoosier Gridiron
Midwest College Prospect publication promotes high
school football players that have a desire to play college
football. Each
player profiled has been identified as a potential college
prospect by their high school football coach.
For the last 4 years Hoosier Gridiron has profiled high
school football talent from Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, Michigan
and Illinois. Each
year more than 600 student athletes are profiled at no charge to
the athlete or the school. Hoosier
Gridiron provides this publication, free of charge, to
hundreds of college football coaches throughout the United
States to use in aiding their recruiting efforts.
The Hoosier Gridiron
Midwest High School Football Combine is conducted twice a
year. The Combine is
designed to provide student athletes with the opportunity to
market their athletic, academic and football talents to numerous
college football coaches. Hoosier
Gridiron’s spring combine is conducted in May during the
NCAA evaluation period. This
is a time period when college football coaches are focused on
evaluating high school talent.
Hoosier Gridiron’s winter combine is held in
December during the only “contact period” permitted by the
NCAA. During the
“contact period” a DI or DII coach may evaluate a
participant’s athletic ability and football talent, as well
as, make contact with participants.
Attending a Hoosier Gridiron Combine provides
participants with the opportunity to be viewed by college
coaches while performing a series of athletic testing events and
while participating in various football position demonstration
skills. Each
participant’s combine results are provided to every college
coach that attends the Combine, as well as, 200 college football
coaches that have contacted Hoosier Gridiron requesting
information on camp participants.
Hoosier Gridiron provides each college coach with
participant’s home addresses, academic information and Combine
evaluation results.
Why Hoosier Gridiron’s
Combine? Hoosier
Gridiron’s Combine attracts participants from 6 states.
Because of this wide geographical draw this event has
become popular with college football coaches.
This will be our 8th year conducting this
exciting football recruiting event. Hoosier Gridiron will limit
the amount of participants.
Our goal is that each participant receives maximum
individual exposure. We
simply don’t believe that athletes can receive a maximum
amount of exposure when they attend combines that attract
600-800 athletes. The
Hoosier Gridiron Combine is limited to 200 participants.
While at the Combine each participant will be well
identified to the college coaches in attendance.
When a college recruiter arrives he is provided with each
participant’s name, jersey number, height, weight and academic
information.
Hoosier Gridiron staff is
loaded with people that have years of experience in athletic
recruiting and training. Jeff
Jellison is Hoosier Gridiron’s president and Combine
coordinator. Jeff,
through Hoosier Gridiron and Hoosier Gridiron’s sister
company, Hoosier
Diamond, has conducted numerous athletic
evaluation camps. Jeff’s
camps have provided student athletes with the opportunity to
earn thousands of dollars in athletic and academic aid.
In addition staff members of the National Collegiate
Athletic Association (NCAA) have participated in Hoosier
Gridiron’s Combine. Hoosier
Gridiron is the only high school football combine in the Midwest
to have the participation of NCAA staff members.
While at the Combine NCAA staff members discuss with
parents, players, high school coaches and spectators, issues
relating to college athletic recruiting rules, financial aid and
college admission testing.
Hoosier Gridiron’s Midwest
High School Football Combine is the most comprehensive
recruiting event in the Midwest.
